Here's a little about my artistry background...

 

I’m a fully qualified and insured Professional Hair & Make up Artist based in Buckinghamshire, covering the UK. After studying full time for 2 years I qualified in 2003 with a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion Media Make up and an NVQ in hairdressing, I now have over 20 years professional experience within the industry.

At the beginning of my make up career and whilst building my business I worked with an agency for 3 years covering make up counters over Surrey and Berkshire, this gave me a real insight and extensive knowledge into different make up and skincare brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Clarins, Urban Decay and Lancome.

Whilst working for an agency was great experience I decided I needed something a little more permanent whilst continuing to build my business, it was then that I landed a job with MAC Cosmetics. The training and product knowledge gained from my time with MAC was fantastic, keeping up to date with new techniques and current trends whilst continuing professional development throughout.

After 3 years working with MAC it was then in 2013 I decided to take the plunge and run my hair and make up business full time with much success to date, since 2012 I have also been teaching hair and make up to the next generation of budding make up artists at The London School of Beauty and Make up.

My work load is completely varied from photoshoots to pampering brides on their special day or educating and teaching the students at The London School of Beauty and Make Up. Each day brings something new to me and is the reason I love and enjoy my job so much!
